*Product update*

Version 1.8.2 of the Mac app supports macOS 12 Monterey, so Macs that cannot update to Ventura or later can run Esment too.

Until now, Esment for Mac required macOS 13 Ventura or later. Many Macs that work perfectly well stop at macOS 12 Monterey, such as the 2017 MacBook Air, and their owners could not install the app. Starting with version 1.8.2, Esment for Mac runs on macOS 12 Monterey and later.

## What changes

- The Mac app installs and runs on macOS 12 Monterey. Memory stays on your Mac, and assistants such as Claude, ChatGPT and Cursor connect to it as usual.
- On macOS 13 and later, nothing changes: the app looks and works exactly as before.
- On macOS 12, a few details are simpler: the charts on the Overview page are not shown, and some text fields and lists use the system styling.

## How to get it

If you already have Esment, the update arrives automatically. If you are on Monterey and could not install it before, download the app and open it as usual.
